The last six months my creativity has been redirected toward fixing up my 100 year old house so I can simplify my life. My contractors have introduced me to some people that really love their work and some, well, not as much.
|
"Kolours by Kryket" is a contractor that really loves her work and has been working with me since early January. While here, she fell in love with two of my paintings... Ottersea and Lavender Blues, both 24x24, oil on canvas. So, we decided to make a trade!
|

Whenever my artwork finds a new home, I always have mixed emotions, but I know that for Kryket they are really SPECIAL!

The Florida Artists Group (FLAG) is proud to announce their next exhibit will be on the campus of Stetson University at The Hand Art Center. The exhibit features approximately 90 original artworks from 22 of our Area V members and two of our newest FLAG board members. This is the first time in a long time that the area members have had such a large show. Each member selected from one to about 5 pieces of their newest work to feature. Also, Stetson is providing us with an opening and a closing/deinstall reception.

When you do come, please be aware that there are two parking lots. The closest one is at the end of E. Arizona Ave. Also, you might like to know that if you plan to take Michigan Ave., it is temporarily closed for construction.

The Venvi Art Gallery's includes my artwork in their gallery in Tallahassee, as well as their online gallery. Pepper Landscape is part of a small "Fruit and Vegetable Series" I did a few years ago. I always enjoy adding new work to the varying series I created in the past. If you are interested in it or any of the other pieces, please let them know!
