EVERGLOW: FLORIDA ARTISTS GROUP 76th ANNUAL EXHIBITION

March 10 - April 18, 2026

Florida's textures and light create an everlasting experience that affects all who live in Florida. The Florida Artists Group currently has it's 76th annual exhibition on display at the Court House Cultural Center in Stuart. The show highlights a powerhouse of art by professional visual artists living in Florida whose artistic content is as diverse as they are. Their extraordinary artworks reveal contrasting color spectrums, sensory-enlightening textures, and presents in diverse forms. Visitors will experience 2D and 3D artworks, from realistic to abstract and fanciful, created in oil, acrylic, colored pencil, watercolor, mixed media, clay, paper mache, bronze, silver, photography, digital art, and more. With such a wide variety of styles, materials, and viewpoints, this exhibition will be exciting and memorable.

I hope you get a chance to visit this exhibit. Four other Brevard County member artists are also included: Henrimae Bell, Grace Leal, Barbara Leto, and Susan Martin. My drawing, shown above, was recognized as a winner of one of four Blick Art Materials Awards which was a really nice surprise and honor!

FYI... On the Court House Cultural Center's website, scroll down to "A Glimpse into the Exhibition" you get an idea of what is on display.

The Space Coast Living Magazine's feature article celebrates the Brevard Watercolor Society's 30th anniversary. Each year in mid-February, the group's annual exhibit Splash! of Water has a juried art show of over 200 members at the Azan Shrine Temple. The members pull out all the stops to showcase their best work for the year. Awards are given as well as workshops, demonstrations, and other stimulating activities.

Past president and long time member, Therese Ferguson and at least five of her award winning watercolors are shown on the cover and throughout the SPRING 2026 issue. Other members are featured and share Therese's enthusiasm for the organization and the love of the watercolor medium. Congratulations to Therese and all the members of the society.

Make a point to get a copy of the magazine and visit Therese's studio at Highland Art Studios. Other Brevard Co. artists mentioned are: Linda Schuler, Lori Jenkins, and Lynn Devlin.

Want to help create a multi-disciplinary and experiential arts center for the Space Coast within the next five years? The fund was officially announced at the Community Foundations 40th Anniversary event on December 7, 2021.
